KDDI America and KDDI Europe are adding Exaforce's agentic SOC platform to their managed security portfolios, opening a new channel for the cybersecurity vendor to reach multinational enterprises across the US and Europe. The separate partnership agreements allow the two KDDI subsidiaries to market and sell the Exaforce platform directly to enterprise customers while also embedding the technology into their own managed security services. The arrangement brings AI-assisted threat detection, triage, investigation, and response into KDDI's security operations center offerings as service providers work to integrate agentic AI into existing security practices.
The partnership focuses initially on multinational organizations with offices, subsidiaries, and group companies across the US and EMEA. KDDI America and KDDI Europe will market and sell the Exaforce Agentic SOC Platform to enterprise customers in their respective territories. Exaforce's platform uses a real-time knowledge graph and what the company describes as Multi-Model AI to support AI-driven threat detection, triage, investigation, and response. KDDI will combine Exaforce's platform with its existing regional presence, enterprise relationships, and managed security services. KDDI America and KDDI Europe will support multinational customers operating across both regions, combining localized support with centralized security visibility and automation through Exaforce. KDDI Europe described itself as Exaforce's founding strategic partner in EMEA, with the announcement specifically highlighting Japanese multinational companies operating outside their home market.
"KDDI's deep relationships with enterprise customers make them an ideal partner to extend Exaforce's reach into markets we are incredibly excited about," said Ankur Singla, CEO and co-founder of Exaforce. KDDI America plans to use Exaforce to add an AI-native security operations layer to its existing SOC-as-a-Service offering, according to Tetsuya Nakamura, executive vice president and chief technology officer of KDDI America, who said the partnership is intended to integrate automated detection and response more closely with KDDI's managed security services. Ken Tsutsui, deputy managing director and chief technology officer of KDDI Europe, said Exaforce will serve as a component of the company's SOC service for AI-assisted detection, investigation, and response, noting that "as AI reshapes the threat landscape, attackers are becoming more adaptive and scalable."
The collaboration illustrates how managed service providers and managed security service providers could incorporate agentic SOC technology into broader managed security offerings rather than treating it solely as a standalone platform, according to the announcement. KDDI America is incorporating Exaforce into its SOC-as-a-Service model, while KDDI Europe is positioning the platform within a security lifecycle that includes consulting, implementation, and ongoing operations. The approach provides one example of how service providers can incorporate AI-assisted detection, investigation, and response alongside existing security services while maintaining the broader customer relationship. The agreements give Exaforce another route to enterprise customers through KDDI's existing presence in the US and EMEA, expanding Exaforce's international go-to-market footprint while adding its agentic SOC technology to KDDI's managed security offerings across the two regions. The structure suggests that embedding autonomous security capabilities into established service relationships may become a preferred distribution model as AI tools mature, rather than forcing enterprises to choose between their current providers and new point solutions.
